This is a world-class eco-park with aquatic, cultural, nature type activities, and shows. It has superb facilities; you can snorkel in underground rivers, experience sharks up-close, watch exotic animals living in their habitat (marine turtles, jaguars, flamingos, manatees among others), and more. We truly recommend this place for people of all ages. It is by far our favorite park in Mexico!
This park is the most wonderful aquarium you have ever seen where you can snorkel with tropical fish, swim with dolphins or manatees, and enjoy a ride on a floating tire among other things. It is truly a nature paradise!
Xplor Park is a unique world. Slide down 13 zip lines, fly through the air and land in the crystal clear waters of the cenotes (sinkholes), or walk the amazing suspension bridges.
Chichen Itza is the most admired Mayan Ruins, and is definitely worth the trip.
Tulum is one of the best preserved coastal Mayan cities. It is really a senses experience to see the Mayan building by the turquoise Caribbean Sea. If you are into archeological tours, this is a must see when visiting Playa or any resort in the Riviera Maya.
There are a few places for scuba from reefs to cenotes (sinkholes). You can also visit Cozumel taking a ferry and experience one of the best scuba places in the world. There are plenty of professional guides available for hire and your hotel concierge can hire them for you.
There are also deep fishing tours. It is best to ask your hotel concierge because they are usually operated by local people.
There are beaches with calm waves ideal for kayaking. One example is Tres Rios eco-park on the Riviera Maya; seven miles North of Playa del Carmen Mexico. The place is surrounded by jungle, with extensive mangroves where kayaks can pass and you can enjoy nature to its fullest.
You can hire or rent a boat for sailing at your hotel.
There are all kinds of restaurant with a variety of cuisines in town; Also, every major resort will have many different options for your entertainment. If you want to party all night long and more, your best bet is to stay near or in Cancun.
The local cuisine is very well influenced by the Mayan legacy. If you like to try new things make sure that you get relleno blanco or relleno negro (turkey and pork with ancho chili, spices and vegetables) or the typical cochinita pibil (pork with chili and spices).

Cancun's airport in 45 minutes away.

It is a luxurious, all-inclusive beachfront resort. This is an adults-only resort with aquatic sport lessons including scuba diving, nightly live music, and daily social entertainment activities.

This is an all-inclusive resort with spacious accommodations, modern amenities and is close to many area attractions. The hotel is of great value for the money. Location is great although there are some complaints about the food. Just keep in mind that this would be normal for a three star all-inclusive hotel.
