Los Cabos is one of the most important touristic destinations in Mexico. The name Los Cabos refers to the towns of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo in the Baja California Peninsula. Cabo San Lucas is right on the tip of the peninsula and San Jose del Cabo is about 30 km (20 miles) east. The towns are surrounded by a dessert, mountains and a beautiful coastline.
Los Cabos Mexico has a classy atmosphere, with world class resorts, and some of the best golf courses in the world. Near the resorts you can find the Mexican towns which provide its charm to the place. Los Cabos is known as the preferred destination of Hollywood celebrities due to its relative proximity to California. Many of them own luxury villas or apartments facing the sea.
San Jose del Cabo meets all the requirements to have a relaxed vacation. If you want a more active nightlife, you need to stay in Cabo San Lucas. The resort area in San Jose del Cabo is beautiful but the sea is a rough and could be dangerous.
